Well, if you ever wanted to see how good the video is on the Canon Rebel T2i, here you go! Between the main course and desert, I popped a squat at the foot of that fountain in the plaza and zoomed in on Mike Keale as he sang a cover of Elvis's "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You."

Mike Keale is from Hawaii, and he's apparently related to Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, so music was a big part of his family growing up. He's also an award-nominated performer, and was in fact nominated for an award given out during this performance; I wasn't alerted as to whether he won or not. But his voice is smooth as anything, and he's up there with the best male vocalists I've ever heard.

So this concludes our trip to Lake Anne Plaza! (for now...) I'll be finishing up the Roscoe Nix Performances this week. (I'm not done already?!) And next week I'll put pics of anything I see at Fiesta Filipina (even while I'm not in the country, I assure you). Then I leave for the Bahamas and Europe!
